Simplify Online Auto Parts Shopping With Search Filters
Shopping online for anything can quickly become overwhelming with dozens of websites and hundreds of options presenting themselves. If you’re looking for something very particular, like a used converter for your specific model car or truck and are faced with very poor search and filter options, the task can seem insurmountable.
LKQ Online is North America's largest online provider of recycled original equipment (OE and OEM) auto parts and aftermarket replacement parts for cars and light-duty trucks, with a vast inventory across more than 200 parts facilities nationwide. Although searching that could be complicated indeed, our online search process starts with selective filters to refine your search, showing you only those parts that meet with your criteria.
Comparison and value shopping made easy
Putting in your car’s year, make, and model presents a page with nine categories of parts where you can select the actual part you are looking for. All available of that part will populate for review but taking a couple of minutes to complete the FILTER options will get you to your part quicker. Filter options offer benefits to fine-tune your search and include:
· Deliver To
· Sort
· Condition
· Mileage
· Certification
· Price
DELIVER TO is your delivery Zip Code and that information can help in several ways.
· You won’t go through a search and then find out you’re undeliverable. LKQ Online only ships to the continental 48 United States. No shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, or overseas.
· Your Zip Code allows the website search to find the closest “ship from” location from our 200 nationwide warehouse locations so you’ll get your item sooner.
· For freight shipment of larger items such as engines, bumpers, and seats, limiting shipping distance will save time and money.
SORT lets you see the available stock in a manner that facilitates your search.
CLOSEST FIRST
FARTHEST FIRST
PRICE LOWEST FIRST
PRICE HIGHEST FIRST
MILEAGE LOWEST FIRST
MILEAGE HIGHEST FIRST
· Closest or farthest relates to how far the parts are from you, impacting shipping time and cost. Closest will probably mean quicker receipt of your purchase if you’re in a hurry.
· Price low to high ensures you won’t miss a bargain on your perfect part.
· Prices high to low lets you bypass parts outside your budget.
· Sorting by source vehicle mileage lets you home in on what may be the best match for your own vehicle. Finding a part that is comparable to your car’s mileage may save money over the same part from a lower mileage, less-used part this is not necessarily more valuable. For example, a Grade A fender from a 10-year-old Nissan with 100,000 miles is probably just as acceptable as a Grade A fender from the same model with 55,000 miles but with a higher cost. Inert parts are not as impacted by mileage as are mechanical parts, so condition more than miles can become the determining factor.
CONDITION allows you to select from OEM Original Equipment Manufacturer) and OE (Original Equipment) salvage/used auto parts or new, aftermarket auto parts. First inclusion of the number of parts available in each category.
AFTERMARKET (1179)
SALVAGE (28681)
· Used OEM and OE parts eliminate the worry of fit and function, since you’ll be buying exactly the same part that is in your car or truck.
· Aftermarket parts can sometimes save money over OEM or OE used parts since they are manufactured by other than the original parts maker.
· In some instances, such as older cars, new aftermarket auto parts may be the only way to replace a part that is no longer available in dealer inventory or is a scarce, hard-to-find used part.
MILEAGE lets you predetermine the acceptable level of use for a part.
0K-20K (1831)
20K-40K (1183)
40K-60K (2275)
60K-80K (3778)
80K-100K (5215)
100K-120K (6216)
120K-140K (6253)
140K-160K (3109)
· Searching by mileage will sort parts with the most and the least use and wear based on miles driven.
· Find a comparable part to the wear and use level of your vehicle or opt for one with less wear.
· Save money by not “over buying” a part if you are only going to keep your car for a short time before you replace it. The difference in cost for a 150K mile part versus the same part at 20K – 40K could be a substantial savings yet still give you what you need.
· For non-mechanical parts, the lower mileage may not be a factor worth more money if the parts are both in good condition.
CERTIFICATION
Not available for every kind of auto part, certified auto parts have been thoroughly tested by a third-party entity to ensure the highest standards for quality, safety, and comparability to a car company’s OEM and OE brand parts. Applicable to new aftermarket parts, reconditioned parts, and used parts. Where certifications are indicated, you can opt to see only certified available parts by selecting one or all valid certification agencies including: CAPA, Platinum Plus, NSF, and Value Line.
· CAPA (Certified Auto Parts Association) – Independent testing and certifying authority for auto replacement parts to ensure they meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety requirements and standards.
· Platinum Plus -- Keystone/LKQ brand of collision repair products that undergo third party validation as well as internal testing to ensure highest standards, best warranty, and guaranteed fit and finish.
· NSF --Independent third-party testing organization who makes sure any part that carries the NSF certification compares to its OEM counterpart to ensure that the aftermarket part replicates the OEM part in form, fit, and function.
· Value Line – Offers the highest cost savings but without any part certification as evaluated by a third-party such as CAPA or FSN for fit and finish.
PRICE selection lets you keep to budget for your auto repair.
